Running until 31 August — Flag Fen Archaeology Park

Flag Fen's summer programme is running through the school holidays with themed activities and daily opening. A £30 family ticket provides unlimited access over the summer programme.

Go Behind The Scenes At The New Theatre

Selected dates — New Theatre

Rather than sitting in the audience, these tours take visitors backstage to explore areas including the wings and dressing rooms and hear some of the theatre's history. The programme runs on selected dates through to November.

The Last Laugh

4–8 August — New Theatre

One to put in the diary for next week. The Last Laugh imagines comedy legends Tommy Cooper, Eric Morecambe and Bob Monkhouse together in a dressing room talking about comedy, life and death. Tickets are listed from £19.

 The Addams Family

12–15 August — Key Theatre

A little further ahead, Kindred Drama brings The Addams Family musical to Peterborough, with evening performances plus a Saturday matinee.
